The Parish of Saints Joachim and Anne provides a holistic spiritual environment, ministering to youth; teens; young adults; adults; and seniors. We offer a variety of ministries to gain spiritual growth and development to building strong families, strong relationships, strong community and true moral values. We are an alliance of people dedicated to serving, through faith and spiritual development, all ages in Shakopee, Minnesota.
Our Mission Statement: The Parish of Saints Joachim and Anne, exists to inspire, educate and demonstrate the truth of Christ by what we say and what we do. By being an example of how we live the Catholic faith today, we will lead our growing community to respond to God’s call with personal commitment and communal action. We come together as a diverse Catholic community to welcome all in proclaiming the good news.
This statement is reflective of identified themes derived from past mission statements from each church along with faith formation and SACS. These themes are weaved throughout this simple 3-tiered charter for an active, growing and collaborative Catholic community. The themes identified include:
